We use this specification of cylinder head on most of our performance road (Sports Road) small bore engine packages. Specifically machined to work with the most popular performance camshafts in small bore Kent 266, Kent 276. The smaller bore sizes limit the size of the exhaust valve. Developed on an airflow bench and then on engine dyno/rolling roads to work with suitable compression ratios given modern lead-free fuel specifications. High quality lead-free exhaust seat inserts are fitted.

    MCCS-SBRS is our version of the Leyland Special Tuning Stage 3

    • Inlet Valves: 30.9mm, triple groove collet EN214N plasma-nitrided
    • Exhaust Valves: 26.4mm, triple groove collet EN214N plasma-nitrided
    • Guides: Manganese bronze
    • Stem Seals: A+ sprung on all 8, Viton material on inlets
    • Valve Springs: 180lb nominal dual coil, shimmed to correct fitted length
    • Top Caps: Standard
    • Collets: Standard triple groove

    Leyland ST Cylinder Head Specs Small Bore:

    • Stage 1: Gas-Flowed with STD Road Quality Valves
    • Stage 2: Larger 30.9mm Inlet (usually race quality) Valve
    • Stage 3: Larger 30.9mm Inlet and 26.4mm Exhaust Race Quality Valves
